Our Gingerbreadmen

Our class had a great time discussing all the places in our community your gingerbread men could visit. Some of the ideas we had included going to hockey games, going to play golf, going to a pow wow, going to a lake, and going to the city of Edmonton to go to West Edmonton Mall.   We even thought our gingerbread men would enjoy playing in the snow.

Our gingerbread men enjoyed visiting all these places and here are a few pictures of their journey.

Here is a Gingerbread Man at a Garner Lake.

Here they are building snowmen with some of the students.

Here is the Gingerbread Man at the Edmonton Capital Ex festival.

Throughout the Christmas holidays we created our Gingerbread men.  Here are some pictures of them:

After Christmas we talked about all the fun things there are to do in our community.  The students came up with some great ideas.  A few things to do in our community or in nearby communities are:

- go to the lake to fish or swim
- go to the city to go to Capital Ex or West Edmonton Mall
- go to a pow wow
- play hockey
- go golfing

We also took some pictures of us building snowmen as that is something fun to do in the winter.

Here are some pictures of our gingerbread men and some local activities.
